RHA colleagues raised £150 for the Bobby Moore Fund by taking part in Football Shirt Friday

Football Shirt Friday it is an annual event which aims of to raise funds for the Bobby Moore Fund’s fight against Bowel Cancer. The day saw people wear a football shirt or other sports jersey of their choosing in support of the charity.

The fundraisers organiser, RHA IT Systems Admin Andrew Sylvester, said “It was delightful to get such good support from colleagues across the RHA. It shows that to play a part in a great cause you don’t need to run up a mountain, it can be as simple as wearing a shirt.”

The Bobby Moore Fund was established in 1993 by Stephanie Moore OBE, widow of football legend Sir Bobby Moore who had passed away from the disease the same year. The fund aims to raise money for bowel cancer research and increase public awareness of the disease in partnership with Cancer Research UK.
